It's 2am. I'm on my third energy drink of the day. My heart is doing things that hearts probably shouldn't do. And I'm writing this instead of finishing my Finance paper because avoidance is also a coping strategy.

The Diet:
I know this is bad. I know I should sleep more, eat better, drink water, all those things my mom texts me about. But there's always one more assignment. One more reading. One more thing that feels more urgent than my long-term health.
It's like I'm trading tomorrow's well-being for today's deadline, and tomorrow keeps arriving and making the same trade.
The Question:
How do you break the cycle?? How do you prioritize sleep when there's always work to do?? How do you say "this paper can be a B instead of an A" and actually believe it??
I'm not looking for judgment (I'm judging myself enough for everyone). I'm looking for strategies. Stories. Something that tells me it's possible to do this differently.
Because right now, my bloodstream is approximately 40% caffeine and I don't see an exit.

Help a tired business major out.
The Diet:
- Morning: Coffee (black, desperate)
- Afternoon: Celsius (wild berry, existential)
- Evening: whatever was on sale at the gas station (currently "Raze," which sounds like a video game and tastes like regret)
- Hands shaking slightly (always)
- Can't fall asleep (ever)
- When I do sleep, I dream about spreadsheets (nightmare)
- My resting heart rate is now "technically concerning" according to my roommate who's a nursing major
