Is it just me, or did "SarahWrites" use AI? The text felt very robotic.

Hey everyone. First time posting here, long time lurker. 👋 I hired a writer named "SarahWrites" from the recommendations thread about a month ago. She had good reviews, seemed nice in DMs, prices were fair ($35/page for undergrad level). I ordered a 6-page paper on Environmental Ethics for my Philosophy elective.

The paper came back on time, which was good. But when I read it... something felt off. 🤔 The sentences were technically correct but they had this weird rhythm. Like, every paragraph was exactly 5 sentences. Every transition was "Furthermore" or "Moreover." No personality at all. It read like a textbook written by a robot.

I ran a few paragraphs through an AI detector (just curious, not trying to start drama) and it came back as 75% AI-generated. 😬 I confronted her about it and she got super defensive. Said detectors are "not accurate" and that she "writes in a formal academic style." Which... okay, but formal doesn't have to mean robotic??

Has anyone else worked with "SarahWrites"? Did you get similar vibes? I'm not trying to call her out if it's just her writing style, but also... I paid for "expert writing" not "ChatGPT with a thesaurus." If I'm wrong, I'll delete this. But if others had the same experience, maybe we should talk about it. 🤷‍♂️
