About Me:
Ello gov'nor? No. Just no.
I'm Emma, I'm 28, I live in Manchester, and I speak actual British English (not the Hollywood version). I have a BA in English Literature from the University of Manchester and an MA in Linguistics from UCL.
Why Me?
Because "colour" is spelled with a U, "centre" ends with "re," and "aluminium" has four syllables. If your professor expects UK English, I'm your girl. If they just want good writing, I'm still your girl.
What I Write:
I write like a thoughtful friend explaining something complicated—clear, warm, but still academically rigorous. No unnecessary jargon. No pretentious fluff. Just good writing that says what it means.
My Experience:
I work fast but I won't rush if it means lower quality. For urgent orders (under 48 hours), I charge a 25% rush fee and only accept if I genuinely have the bandwidth.
Let's Chat:
DM me with your prompt and deadline. Tell me a bit about yourself—I like knowing who I'm writing for. Makes the work feel more human.

What I Write:
- Literary analysis (poetry, prose, drama—I've studied it all)
- Linguistics papers (syntax, phonology, sociolinguistics, language acquisition)
- Creative writing (short stories, personal statements, reflective pieces)
- Comparative literature (cross-cultural analysis, translation studies)

My Experience:
- 5+ years of freelance academic writing
- Former tutor at a London sixth-form college (ages 16-18)
- Published poet (two small collections, very niche, very proud)
